Career Day

Cal Poly's Graphic Communication (GrC) Career Day takes place on campus each quarter of the academic year (Fall, Winter and Spring) to allow employers to discuss employment and related options, and to conduct interviews with students. Full-time, internship/co-op employment, and graduate school discussions are encouraged.

Career Day consists of a morning exposition style session that provides a great opportunity to showcase your organization and to recruit top talent.

Typically recruiters use displays and bring samples and literature that describe their organizations. Giveaways are popular with the students and leave a lasting impression.

In the afternoon, recruiters may conduct interviews with selected students in designated interview rooms. Employers control interview sign-ups during the morning expo, with criteria for interview selection determined by the employer.
