Founded in 1954, GMN has grown from a few employees in a small facility in Seattle, WA to more than 1,000 employees spanning seven plants: San Jose, CA, Monroe, NC, Beaverton, OR, Singapore, China and two in Seattle.

The Office and Administrative Intern will assist in a variety of projects throughout the various office departments. The Intern will work on products and strategies for GMN’s core product lines, perform some day to day administrative tasks but with a project based focus.
> Perform market research, present findings, and implement customer acquisition strategies to target key industries to support the sales and marketing team’s activities.
> Build marketing content using best practices and company-subscribed methods for developing case studies, writing blogs, setting up user guides, and press releases and present those to the marketing manager.
> Support customer webinar development and marketing efforts by assisting sales and marketing with key content and base instructions.
> Help support the training of a new phone system to employees by working with the admin team and Project Manager Advisor using established training tools and templates.
> Reorganize internal filing systems as needed by varying departments and in conjunction with the company’s subscribed retention and filing policies.
> Support new product Website (Levl) by working with their salesteam, marketing manager and other team members on required content.
> Develop start-to-finish marketing campaigns
> Create sales tools and trainings based on best practices and appropriate resources.
> Perform market research and analysis using appropriate search and analytical tools as needed by marketing manager.
> Others projects as needed by team.
> Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college in marketing, PR, communications or business degree program; students entering their Junior or Senior year of college preferred
> Fundamental understanding of marketing concepts, best practices, tools and resources.
> Some marketing experience through class projects, internships, jobs, or volunteering
> Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC
> Strong verbal and written communication skills in English in support of the company’s safety and work instruction processes – writing samples may be requested
> Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times
> Ability to learn new concepts in a timely manner
> Critical thinking and problem solving
> Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities under minimal supervision
> Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment
> Proactive and comfortable working with individuals at all levels of an organization
