Job Specifications

Position Title:
Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator will support internal communications as well as a number of ongoing marketing programs throughout the organization. In addition, they will assist with the development of new marketing initiatives from early planning stages through deployment.
> Under the direction of the marketing manager, support marketing initiatives to drive sales. Activities may include developing content, updating web and social platforms, working with vendors, tracking results, and more.
> Coordinate monthly training webinars for staff and partners to better understand GMN capabilities.
> Facilitate scheduling, practice sessions, and follow-up.
> Act as the marketing contact for supplier surveys and successfully complete them on time and according to approved guidelines.
> Support tradeshow administration and marketing to maximize opportunities and generate leads. This will involve facilitating planning sessions, reserving all necessary materials, developing campaigns, and measuring success.
> Oversee internal communication projects to ensure that staff is up-to-date on company information. Using standard office software, support the on-time release of the corporate newsletter, the success story program, streaming lobby presentations, and more.
> Under the direction of the marketing manager, conduct market research to provide business intelligence on companies, industries, and competitors as requested.
> Provide administrative assistance to support day-to-day marketing operations. This may entail developing presentations, pulling reports, responding to requests for marketing materials, and more.
> Crosstrain and act as a back-up for other marketing team members as needed.
> Proficient with MS Office software and use of a PC
> Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
> Basic understanding of marketing concepts
> Ability to learn new concepts quickly
> Can-do attitude that can take a project and run with it
> Familiarity with Adobe design software and basic graphic design skills a plus
> Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times
> Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work activities with a focus on efficiency
> Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities
> Must be able to follow directions, work in a team environment, and demonstrates the ability to promote strong teamwork.
> Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, PR, communications, or related field preferred
> 0-2 years of work experience in marketing or related field
